Hello. My name is Maggie McLemore. I am an United States photographer currently based in Brooklyn, NY. In '23 I attained my masters in "Fashion Film and Photography" from the Paris College of Art following an undergraduate fine art degree from the University of Arkansas. I have since had my work published in NON. Magazine.

 

My fashion photography hybridizes personal and playfully invented stories through highly constructed scenes and bold lighting. I am inspired by cinema and the idea of the “tableaux vivant” - a living picture. I often work with commonly undiscussed topics - my interest in re-visiting the undiscussed, informs my choice of eerie and sarcastic scenes. While fashion photography is how I label my work, I blur the lines to include elements of fine art to further tell the story of a living picture.
